CITY OF HOPE
We helped City of Hope Hospital in Duarte, California reorganize
on every level to improve communication, organization, and productivity.
Based on the needs of individual doctors, we revamped and/or refined
filing systems to help doctors find reference articles more quickly.
Time-Strategies also redesigned their workflow processes to increase
productivity.
Defining new ways of working together improved communication between
administrative assistants and doctors to a degree neither group
had imagined possible. Depending on administrative assistants' job
functions and responsibilities, Time-Strategies refined workspaces
to encourage more productive workflow and provided techniques to
manage information more effectively.
REGENT PROPERTIES
Regent Properties called us in to design a filing system that could
be used by attorneys, secretarial support, and temporary administrative
help without extensive training. The existing system was based on
a numerical plan which was confusing to the support staff, and as
a result, filing was backlogged. Attorneys had difficulty locating
information in the files when the secretaries weren't present. Since
the filing requirements for each of the projects were similar, Time-Strategies
was able to design a consistent outline of categories and subcategories
that could be set up for any new project. As a result:
- attorneys are able to find documentation without secretarial assistance
- support staff is no longer overwhelmed by decisions of where things
should be filed
- each staff member can focus on doing what he or she
does best.
NAVARRO CONSTRUCTION
Time-Strategies worked with Navarro Construction
client to clear and increase workspace and create areas of visual
rest space. We worked with them to develop new techniques to track
daily calls, tasks, and projects, as well as to set up systems for
maintaining crucial reference materials.
